Zangief Shorts statue

On occasion, when presented the opportunity, I have taken on commissions for a few projects that were not cosplay related. In this case, there were 2 (well 3 really*) statues that I made the prototype fabric clothing for in the past. Zangief, who was released by Jerry Macaluso's Pop Culture Shock Toys and Collectibles was the most recent. Yes, all I did was make shorts for him. It may not seem like much, but, it's a small industry-related job I did. I'm putting it up on here because I pretty much use this as my portfolio and may as well put in even the small stuff.

The Zangief shorts were custom made by hand in red spandex with 2 sizes of elastic cording in the seams to ensure that the shorts would remain stable on the statue. I worked on this back in 2009.


The other job I did back in 2007 was the Akuma and Shin Akuma (*see why I said 2, but really 3) prototype gi. I'll be uploading those later.
